Paragon Holiday Grilled Cheese Pop-Up + The Return of Breakfast Sandwiches
12.07.22
The recently-opened Paragon at SOCO celebrates the season with a cozy, upscale dinner pop-up celebrating delicious takes on the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. These Holiday Grilled Cheese Dinners will take place 5-10 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday through Friday, Dec. 23.
“We wanted to take something that most everybody loves–the Grilled Cheese Sandwich–and put the Paragon spin on it, a few times over,” Executive Chef Dean Isom said. “ I’ve created two soups for the pop-up, too. Grilled cheese and soup when it’s cold out is the paragon of comforting food to me, and in many ways, that’s really what we’re all about.”
The pop-up menu features:
SANDWICHES (with gruyere, cheddar, and parmesan cheeses)
- Bacon Grilled Cheese / smoked bacon, red wine demi-glace, tomato
- Mushroom Grilled Cheese/spinach, cremini mushrooms, swiss cheese
- Chorizo Grilled Cheese / chorizo, avocado, tomato
- Crab Grilled Cheese/lump crab, avocado, tomato
- Grilled Cheese/gruyere, cheddar, and parmesan
SOUPS
- Tomato Bisque / toasted sourdough
- Potato Leek Soup / toasted sourdough
SALADS
- Caesar Salad / marinated anchovies, reggianito, lemon croutons
- Honey Gem Salad / pickled onions, herb goat cheese, red wine vinaigrette
SIDES
- Truffle Fries
- Garlic Parmesan Tots
- Small Tomato Bisque
- Small Potato Leek Soup
- Add a Side to Your Sandwich for $5
DESSERT
Pots De Crème / rich chocolate and coffee, raspberry whipped cream
Paragon is also bringing their fan-favorite breakfast sandwiches back to the menu starting Dec. 1. These sandwiches were originally on the menu when Paragon was a breakfast/brunch pop-up located inside of Shuck Oyster Bar, across the center at SOCO, inside of the OC Mix.
Sandwiches are available for dine-in, takeout and catering. The menu includes:
